I said to practice on another part of your body to gain experience and confidence. Do you have a mole or some other blemish to practice on?

The skin does react by forming a scab that eventually falls off, leaving fresh new scar free skin. You did not follow my instructions. Google "Lesion Iodine" or "Mole Iodine" to learn more about the process.

Do NOT paint around the scar! Paint only the scar and NOT the good skin surrounding it. Go back and re-read my original post. Like I said, practice on another part of your body first to learn how it works.
