I have been reading quite a lot about iodine recently and just received my first bottle of iodine and selenium. I read that when taking iodine you should take selenium, zinc, magnesium and a B vitamin. My solution for this problem ( to reduce redness, intense itching, dries blisters and reduces pain)is to wash ( soak up to two minutes) your hands with salty water ( iodised best) or seawater( if able ) then follow up with cortisone based cream. yes, ’ringworm’ is a dermatophyte and dyshidrosis is allergy to a dermatophyte. The reason that you couldn’t find the 27% hydrogen peroxide is because at that level it is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and could cause permanent damage and loss of all skin!!!! Only under very very rare circumstances should it ever be used above 3%. I’ll start out by saying I never went to a doctor for this but my symptoms were all there-small itchy bumps filled with liquid that were usually in clusters, sometimes singe bumps. It got the worst as the temps increased but I’d occasionally get them in the winter. That is great news that you have found some things that worked for you. I did want to let you know that I did the same thing using only safe shampoos and gloves in the shower for a long time and it definitely helped. But I developed a oil treatment for my skin that I used faithfully for a year and for several years after that have not had a outbreak, I have not used my oil for about 10 months now and am just now getting a little itchy but nothing that normal moisturizers cant help with. I abuse my hands daily now, I use every lotion shampoo soap without fear, I only use gloves when washing ...

I too have been trying to alter my diet to clear my dyshidrosis. Through research I have also come across a potential cause it a build of toxins - especially metals. I get random episodes of Dyshidrosis on my right hand on 3 fingers. Clobetasol Proponate (steroid cream) works instantly however it has started to thin my skin, so this time it popped up I told myself I was going to clear it without the steroid cream! Today I just tried a vinegar wash 50 percent distilled white vingegar(im allergic to apples - so no apple cider vinegar for me) and 50 percent water - heated up. Its been an hour and so far some of the blisters have dried up. I think I might need to pop them with a sterile needle and THEN do the vinegar wash to be more effective. I al ...

For quite a while now I’ve been suffering from Pompholyx and was only recently actually diagnosed with it. My breakouts have never been big at all, just a small cluster of blister like things on both of my index fingers every so often, that’s really about it. Danger Bettie, great question! In my opinion, gluten hates most people. Our ancestors that didn’t have disease and digestive issues didn’t consume gluten. Also, you don’t need to test gluten sensitive to know that gluten is bothering you. It can still irritate anything in your body.
