I don't know where your friend had her son circumized, but most of the "civilized world" use anesthesics which eliminates the pain associated with the procedure. What does the immune system have to do with a babies sensitivity to pain?? or anything else that is being mentioned here?? A newborn healthy baby has a better immune system than any adult cause it receives anti-bodies past down through the mother's womb. The bible says also to have the baby circumsized on the eighth day because it is proven "scientifically" that vitamin K is at it's highest then which helps the blood clotting process and healing to take place much faster. Just goes to show that God knew what he was talking about as man didn't have the capabilities to know that back in Abraham's day. One of the reasons most babies receive a boost of vitamin k when they're born.
