Actually, the appendix and the tonsils are not life-threatening organs. People live normal lives when they have them removed. The appendix esp. is an organ that humans don't really use anymore b/c it is used to digest hulls, and seed shells, which we don't eat anymore(we eat the inside of seeds). So it is for the foreskin as well. It is not life-threatening or anything, and it is a sign of cleanness, and keeping the covenant with God. It started with the Jews in ancient times, but you don't have to be a Jew to do it. It a standard practice with Christians.

I personally like the circumcised penis better.
