And she'll have to live for the rest of her life with the knowledge of the pain she caused her son.

But more to the point, he'll have to live without a significant part of his penis and be lumbered forever with a blunt instrument instead of a sensitive organ. How can we allow such things to be done to babies in a supposedly-civilised country?
