TOLERANCE works two ways.

The post that I just read expressed "defensiveness" and I don't see that anyone has made any posts in a confrontational manner. I've heard many times that Christians should be more tolerant of other beliefs and also non-belief (atheism, etc.). Of course, that standard (tolerance) should be considered the norm, but those REQUESTING it, should, at least, make the effort to be good examples to us. Assuming that what I have written in some of my posts is what is being spoken of as offensive, I admit that some of the things I say can be "MEANINGFUL" to just about anyone, I do not express my opinions in order to bother anyones conscience. Even though I am a Christian, I am not so gentle and apologetic as to let myself be vulnerable and feel guilty about someone elses bothered conscience (live and let live). If it is any of my posts that have "bothered" you, I expect just as much tolerance from others as is expected of me (Fair enough?).
