religion is not of God...
no more than a tree is made of sod...
those of "ego" seek to control...
to enslave... and dominate ones very soul...

God intends us to be free...
what other answer could there be...
we are not here to serve any mortal man...
perhaps it's time to make that stand...

there are far more souls been sent to hell...
than all the records could ever tell...
so many souls that have followed religion...
and simply died as someone elses pigeon...

the dark ages people were burned at the stake...
simply for the pioused sake...
look at the crimes religion has done...
it diverts the people from being "ONE"...

follow your heart... and be not deterred...
freedom as free as the mocking bird...
"LOVE" is the only true force on earth...
we all knew it well at the moment of birth...

but a life of conditioning... takes love away...
mutalated... tortured... and controlled by the sway...
for a man cannot know what a man does not know...
and the way back to freedom has been painfully slow...

freedom can only be found through the spirit...
worshippers of "ego" would prefer not to hear it...
ye shall know the "truth"... and it will set you "free"...
truth is... God is inside you... and inside me...

methinks my worse sin was in being naive...
letting others tell me just what to believe...
but "LOVE" has a way of overcoming the foe...
through patience and tolerance... though i be sometimes slow...

i wish no one harm... nor should i tell one how to believe...
that would be cruel... and would only deceive...
he who knows "LOVE"... knows it dwells in the "HEART"...
live life between heart beats... it's a good place to start...

who is there among us that knows when life might end...
a life without love... is a sad one my friend...
we should all seek to love... and live life in the spirit...
let all seek to comfort... let others draw near it...

there's love... and there's fear...
there's ego... and spirit...
but not all that are with us...
are able to hear it...
