People, religion is about social control. Don't let any preacher or any group tell you what to think. YOu have the power to think for yourself. Please don't give that power away.

You have one human mind to think with.

It's probably the most precious thing you own. Why?

Because with your mind, and heart, you can discern your own personal truth.

You can look at the world outside of the framework that our society would have you use to look at it. You can use another framework than Christianity. My framework is my experience.

Being true to my heart is more important than the approval of other people who want me to believe like they do. So I do not talk to those people who see the whole world through the lens of "Christianity......or else!!"

It's like medical care. If you have an infection, a Western doctor would give you an Antibiotic to kill the bacteria. An acupuncturist would say your meridians for certain organs need to be stimulated. An Ayurvedic doctor (from India) would say you need to balance your doshas. These are all different frameworks (ways) of looking at disease, and they are all right to some extent.


I have my own spirituality that is constantly evolving with my experiences. I think a better title for this forum would be "spirituality without religion".
