Hi, How are you? Did you get help?? I sure hope so. I know how you feel. For 2 years I have had some type of Myiasis and Doctors are pushing me away as well. I don't know what to do. I live in Florida. I have sores now from my toes all the way now up to my face. I'm scared they will get in my eyes. I have been eating the Horse Ivermectin gel from the Feedstore by the handfuls and it only helps alittle. Did you say that it should be the RX Pills? I took them twice and they killed some of them. My Dr,gave me some and I got legitamate pills from India. Then I saw the apple flavored gel at the Feedstore.
I went to my Last Doctor today. I just can't take the stupidity and the lack of feeling they have today over a Human's Life. I'm Alive, but Life is basically over for me. I cant go in Public except fast runs to buy food. I stay out of touch with everyone Ive ever known because I couldn't tell them about this Gross Disease. I can hardly believe this has happened. Myiasis DOES EXIST in Florida, but I guess the Doctors will make sure that the CDC never knows about it cause they turn us away saying its all in our heads or like today they said it is so rare that they dont deal with it! I dont know where to turn except maybe the MAYO Clinic?? Can you help me? Where did you go for help? Did it work? I sure hope you are better. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Should I try Shands or Mayo? Did you? Thank you in advance for your help and anyone else who has advice for Myiasis that is unstoppable by IVERMECTIN by mouth as well as, applying it to skin. PS I have a compromised(low) immune system which may be the reason it doesn't kill them. I take 20mg of Prednisone daily for an Autoimmune disorder similar to Lupus. Tweet
