So here's where i'm at. I was using "the cure" for about a month as much as possible. If I used to consistently it would keep the sores at bay, but like you are saying they would come back. I just went to see a doctor (my first for this), I have been so apprehensive to see one because everyone on this thread before me had little luck. But the doc prescribed me an antifungal. Both topical and a swish and swallow mouth wash. Nystatin and Ketonazole cream.

The doc also said that over the counter lotrimin can help in some cases if you dont want to go see someone. The antifungal cream helped, I use it 2-3 x a day and I have been able to stop putting on the petroleum jelly if I combine antifungal and cortizone cream.

So I am at another standstill here but I feel like I am on the right track. I see the doc again in a week.

couple things to consider. sometimes candida grows out of control in your stomach, i.e. to much Antibiotics ? I think this might have been my problem. so an anti candida diet is needed. Because what is causing the cracking? This is at the core. All the antifungal cream in the world will not stop my lips from cracking in the corners right now, so I am searching for the root cause. If you figure anything else out let me know.
