Re: I Need Help With Angular Cheilitis
Puppymon,
I've gotten more than a few emails from sufferers that the "cure" burns their lips. Some of this was a result of repeating the treatment too many times per day.
It could be you need multiple treatments that steadily kills the fungus population in the wound (instead using a powerful one strike) but without further creating an inflammatory condition which will make the condition worse.
Why don't you try this? Skip the complicated steps I outlined and instead at your bathroom sink every night, wipe your lips with soap for 10 seconds, let it dry for only about 1 or 2 minutes, then wipe on the jelly. Go to sleep. In the morning, follow the procedure after you eat and go about your day. Do it for 2 weeks see if there's any progress.
This little bit approach through a longer period was done by some other person who wrote about it on the web. The link is somewhere above but not not necessary to look for.
Instead of using Vaseline during night, you might want to use Bag Balm (a better protectant IMHO) instead which you can buy at Amazon or anywhere online. While that comes in the mail, just use the Vaseline.
Whatever you do, tell us how it goes.
