True - and it's not like each of us can divorce ourselves completely from whatever spiritual paradigm we espouse. We bring all of who we are into a discussion such as this. Just like 'healing' mentioned affirmations in the recommendations in her recent post. Likely she means more of a New Age affirmation (not certain, haven't visited that forum yet that she recommended).

I'm not saying that I don't believe that affirming what is true is important, I'm just saying that generally affirmations are a New Age custom, and that is a religion/spiritual paradigm also.

We all have a spiritual slant, even someone is atheistic.

I just feel that this went a little deeper into scripture, etc. then I would normally like to in an arena such as this. And for that........

I ask FORGIVENESS!!
