Thank you so much for this forum and your posts on kidney disease. I was told last November it was time to start dialysis for my systemic lupus nephritis. I had two months until my next visit. I went vegan, fasted one day a week, did castor oil packs, clay and charcoal poultices and bought any cleanse recommended I could afford. So far 7 months later I am still not on dialysis. I have had 22 years of advice that was nothing like what was on this site. I hope all people lupus/kidney issues will give your steps a try. They've given me seven months I thought I didn't have. I want people not as advanced in their illness as me to learn from my mistakes. I value my doctors but they've steered me wrong many times too. No one ever said to eat vegan, or do any of these steps. I do still take my medication but I really believe food and learning this way of healing can change your life. So thank you sincerely for this information.
