6.Burdock tincture

6.Burdock tincture

how much?

take 2 dropperfuls (a dropperful is the amount that stays in the eyedropper top when you squeeze the bulb, put into the tincture fluid, release, It will look about half full. It will contain about 30 drops so two droppersful will contain about 60 drops. It is ok to go a little over or under. take 2 dropperfuls 3-5 times a day (5 times if you are very ill)

why?

this is the 2nd herb I gave my mom (5th stage zero function in kidneys) that had a good impact,. I used herbpharm burdock blend as herbpharm is a great brand and they are organic. My teacher Tom gave us a handout. I believe was from Sam Biser when he was working with Dr Schulze that said he tested tons of herbs and schulze said each herb has a signature like licorice is sweet and cayenne is hot and echinacea makes your tongue tingle. They tasted multiple tinctures looking for the signature of the herbs in them..many of the brand had no clue it was the herb it was supposed to be (no taste, smell, tingling etc thus did not seem to be of high quality.

Then they ranked them.. The top ranking he gave was schulze one, homemade tinctures made according to he save your life directions were 2nd best and herbpharm was third best...according to this paper.

Herbpharm does sell a burdock blend...organic tincture

why?

because burdock is a blood cleanser and helps correct putrid conditions of the blood and also burdock was one Dr Christopher said in the chapter of his book (school of natural healing) was good for kidney/bladder problems (some are better for liver etc) but burdock was good for kidney problems and of course, the filthy blood of the kidney patient especially when not on dialysis needs cleaning

also it will help because it is a diaphoretic herb (makes you sweat and you want the skin acting as a third kidney)

here is what Dr Christopher says about burdock

burdock is an alternative herb

what is an alternative herb?

Alternative herbs gradually alter and correct impure conditions of the blood, promote elimination of impurities.

They alter the character of the bloodstream because of being possessed of certain properties which the vital force can use in stimulating or strengthening the organs of nutrition and excretion, building up so that waste material may be carried and a supply of helpful pablum may be provided for the organism. (blood impurities are occurring with a little functioning kidney)..alternative herbs like burdock alter existing nutritive and excretory processes and gradually restore normal body functions. Certainly this is helpful for the kidney patient who has a filthy bloodstream. It is called a blood cleanser or blood sweetener.

It is a tonic herb

tonic herbs stimulate nutrition and permanently increase systemal tone, energy, vigor and strength (so it might help with the weakness)

it is a diuretic herb

; they increase the secretion and flow of urine..certainly needed by the kidney patient

Burdock is a diaphoretic herb-

-these increase sweating and increases elimination through the skin..needed by the kidney patient to assist the non working kidney

it is also a stomachic (stimulative tonic to the stomach; a (mild laxative or evacuant to the bowels) --also needed; a depurative (herbs that clean or purify the blood by promoting eliminative functions..check), an antiscorbic (prevents and cures scurvy), and demulant herb (one that is mucilaginous and soothing and protective internally to irritated and inflamed surfaces and tissues),.

Dr. Christopher says..it is one of the best herb cleansers in nature and benefits the skin, soothes the kidneys,. and relieves congestion in the lymphatic system,. it increases the flow of urine and is useful for weigh loss." He list it for kidney and bladder troubles,
