Re: Good fasting procedure?
Hi Shelly. =) I've done some research for the Potassium broth b/c in your recipe, you do not include exact proportions of each vegetable. In 2 recipes I found, it says NOT to include cabbage. Why is that? Also, the potassium broth recipes include 50 cloves of garlic, some spinach, celery, and ONLY the skins of the carrots. Why is that?? The recipe is different from yours. The only similarity is that yours and theirs uses the peelings of potatoes. My question is isnt 50 cloves of garlic a bit TOO much and wouldnt it make the broth taste funky?? Any suggestions would be helpful as I am rather confused. First, I thought that you were supposed to peel all the veges and then put them in water to make the broth. Then I thought you're supposed to leave all veges unpeeled and just chop them up for the broth. Now I have no idea what to do or how many carrots, celery, spinach, or whatever to use?? I want to make this on Sunday but I NEED an exact recipe to follow. PLEASE HELP!
Also, I read in a book that milk thistle is good for you. What is it used for and how should it be taken?? Do you know anything about this herb?
My hair is fine and thin and there's a 'bald' spot in the left back of my head. There's very little hair there. Do you have any suggestions on what combo of veges/fruits I should drink to encourage more hair growth??? Should I be taking any herbs/supplements? I'm not a big fan of supplements so I would rather take none, but if needed, I will agree to take some upon condition that it will help my hair growth. I've done tests and it seems I do not have any deficiency (no iron deficiency either) so it's not my diet that's a problem and NO I am NOT stressed either and it's not heredity b/c my sisters and mother have LOTS and LOTS of hair. It's just me. =(
Thanks again for all your help! By the way, why are fruits better than veges, btw? Dont fruits have a higher
Sugar content??
