No I don' use peroxide. I really don't treat the outside of my body. It was a waste of time and it would come back. This is a multisystematic bacterial infection not well understood. It takes two years on antifungals Antibiotics and antiheleltics(anti wormer) taken at times. It hasn't been fun treating it. I am currently taking an antiviral because I have cold sores that keep appearing and it would knock me down a couple of days. The antiviral has helped alot. I don't stay in bed when I get the fever blisters. I can function although I don't feel well. I don't want to scare anyone but I also have mycoplasma infections. I believe them to be the cause of the fibers. It puts people at a higher risk for non hodgkins lymphoma and I am going to ne evaluated. I don't have as many fibers that has calmed down a lot. I rarely see the bundles. I see individual ones. I don't have ringing in my ears anymore. I don't have as many open sores. Cognitively I have improved so much. I don't have suicidal Depression or mental disturbances anymore at all. I remember things clearer. The brain fog is not completlh gone but 70 percent better. I am in scool as a senior in a computer Science program. I don't have the numbness in my feet or as much burning. I am sleeping better. I had problems with the worm like things on my skin and they may be demodex out of control because of low immunity and fungal infections. My hair falls out but it is the white hair I think is infected. If anyone has these symptoms you can read my first post I urge you find a lyme literate doctor by contacting you local Lyme society. Mine saved my life. I believe this disease eventually kills people. manh doctors don't reconize it so don't go to your primary complaining about worms. List your symptoms and tell them something is wrong if you go that route. Don't show specimins and don't try to prove to them what you have. I was positive for two different mycoplasma infections, Lyme disease, babesia, and bartonella. I am being evaluated for lymphoma because my lymph nodes have been swollen for 7 months and I have a fever. It does put people at a higher risk for that. I have problems taking ahowers because it makes me feel creepy still. I take a benzo drug for that so I don't take them everyday and just do a sponge bath. I can get away with not washing my hair for three days. What amazed me was that I have never been sui idal in my life. I was suicidal everyday when I was very sick. A month of Antibiotic got rid of that. It helps to stay away from Sugar if you smoke try to stop. Find a doctor who believes in you. Like I said many in the tick community know about this it is called morgellons and they can help you find a doctor. If you cannot work apply for medicare. It will help with the cost of dr visits and meds. I pay for my doctors visit because of rules and regulations she doesn't do insurance. My insurance covers mh meds completely. I was able to stay in school and am feeling well enough to trh to work part time. Overall I have hope. Tweet
