I had the same problem. I went to 4 different hospital, skin doctor and 4x same infectious disease doc. I would bring to each of them the samples coming out my skin and tell them my symtems- such as the worms pushing out from wounds. The skin doc even did a hole punch on skin and I was supposed to go back to get removed but didn't have to because the worms did that job. They all treated me as if I was crazy, a drug addict or just imagining it. My pain doc and my primary care doc. beleaved me but they don't deal these type of issues. Finally my MD. told me to go to the health dept. They didn't treat me like all the other docs. The doctor took sample and looked under microscope and told me I have round worm. One month later and 8 doctors finally was told what I have. I now have a hyper infection and the health dept. referred me to see a new infectious disease doc that does treat for it in Ft. Myers Fl. I have been through hell with this. I have had a lot of health issues through the years and became disabled all because of round worm. Doctors do not have enough knowledge w/ parasites. They should have looked for them years ago because of all my diff health issues. You know the saying wish I knew then what I know now Tweet
