I have similar worms when you shine a LED flashlight on the sore the worm or parasite will come out but only a quarter inch or so. If you hold the light on it long enough the white thread like worms will actually weave the sore up like it has healed. I use bathroom cleaner with bleach when I finished showering to get rid of mine. I would wet a hand towel spray the cleaner on it and wipe it on my sores. Let it set a minute or two then rinse the towel and drip the water on the treated areas only enough not to blister so as to leave a small amount of cleaner on. I know I know hey it worked for me! The sores would heal leaving a purplish scar with a hard core like center.
