ok, thanks for the explanation, the reason i've asked is that my mom towards the end of her life got deaf and blind and I always suspected some parasites (she had a diabetes too) and since I'm having now problems with the eyes and these worms (now I know it's onchocerca volvulus) are all over the eyes and ears, even inside the ear canal, I thought maybe these parasites after some prolonged time cause these symptoms

it's great that you're dealing with this with so much optimism, I guess it's better than be grumpy about it, there's so much other stuff going on so one needs to take it with a lot of courage I think
