Re: Leaky gut/candida/anxiety/adrenals; LOST, need help...
Hello Sevenpoints.
I have never posted on the forums before but your message really made my want to help out as much as I need helped out myself, lol. I feel your frustration about being young and unable to go out and party like my friends and eat normal stuff without feeling really crap. I'm 25 and can't hardly even remember the last 6 years of my life and I don't want to waste another minute. I have had systemic candida and thus leaky gut, caused by mercury poisoning since age 13. My dad owned a bottle of pure mercury (where he got it don not know) and used to let me and my brother play with it in the kitchen, in our hands! ...wtf! I also used to take recreational drugs on a daily basis, this unfortunately led to Depersonalization, but thats another giant altogether. I am also very inwardly angery most of the time about whatever decides to pop into my head. But anyway ...
I have tried many things over the past 4 or 5 years to get rid of it all, whatever 'it' exactly is. The anger, tiredness, acne, weightloss, etc. but nothing so far has been successful.
I will not suggested massive a list of things to take or to do, as I know that it can be very overwhelming and expensive to say the least and many don't work.
There are a couple of things that I would do that can never be bad for your body.
If I were you, which I practically am it seems in terms of health, I would alkalize you body. I've been doing a lot of reading on how crucial this is. It think it will get rid of a lot of biological imbablances and make it much quicker and easier for the body to heal.
So this is my plan:
I have chosen to try Alkalizer Drops in plenty of filtered water along with cutting out
Sugar and refined foods. I wouldn't use bottled water as it leaches plastic into the water and the less said about my tap water the better. I bought a Wellness water filter which is still in the post.
I have also started drinking homemade milk Kefir. If you can't take dairy, you can make Kefir with rice, oat, soya, coconut milk.
That is all I am going to do for a few weeks or months until my body feels ready to try some other things. No extreme diets yet. The body needs nourishment, especially with leaky gut, you can't afford to be living on restricted diets. IMHO.
I would suggest you at least try the alkalizing of the body as a place to start. I will keep you updated.
You can email with questions or ideas or whatever. Good luck all! GB!
