I should be more clear, the massive kick back reaction I received after stopping the chlorella was before I even had a chance to take the DMSA. I'll take your advice and not persue the test, but my thoughts are that the massive reaction is caused by stopping the chlorella dosing so abruptly. If it's just kicking things around, would that likely be the cause?
I'm not sure what you mean when you say "just an artifact". When I did the test to see what metals, lead/mercury/cesium all came back with a higher than average level, but thallium was by far and away more elevated than the other metals.
In regards to taking things at my own pace. Most detinitely. I understand now that I have to do this slowly and carefully. Yes, I was taking cracked cell wall chlorella pyrendosia. I'm wondering if vulgaris would be a better option at this point. The trouble with the NDs around me is that they all seem to cling on to wanting to use chlorella. I'm having a hard time finding a practitioner who is willing to use dmsa/dmps since I can't get those without some sort of prescription.
Animal protein I would consider I'm getting a good supply of, it's either chicken or beef that I eat as it's the most affordable organic option I have access to. I eat more chicken than beef because the beef can sometimes make my kidneys feel more uncomfortable/harder to digest. When you say sauna, does it have to be an infra-red sauna? Or can it be just any plain sauna? How often would you suggest going if I were to start using one?
I have read about doing a hair mineral test, but I'm on the fence since I've read that they aren't completely accurate, for metals at least they say it's best suited for acute cases, where mine is chronic. That's why I did the urine test, what I THOUGHT was the most accurate, but didn't really provide much it seems. Do you know of a company I can look towards to potentially do one that is reliable?
So the animal protein is ok, I can tolerate that. I have a problem however, with any sort of fruits. Any fruit or starch that I eat I have difficulty digesting. I don't know if it's candida or a developed
food sensitivity because of the metals, but anything outside of my pre-defined diet that I listed causes not just uncomfortable side effects, but severe enough to the point where it causes major pain in my esophagus and other areas which prevents me from sleeping.
I have tried gettting a potassium liquid and only take maybe 1/4 of a tsp a day, but even that seems to put my kidneys in distress when I take it, so I'm thinking I should leave that for now? Unfortunately, due to my limited diet, I don't know what foods I can eat more of to increase my potassium levels.
The only mineral supplemintation I am getting is through a multi vitamin and a drink called "liquid light" which contains trace minerals, but that contains
Iodine in it.. Is there any specific ones I should start taking?
I am in the middle of trying to find someone right now.
Thank you so much. Keeping strong most definitely one of the hardest parts of this whole ordeal. Especially since it takes so long, it feels like it never ends.
