Re: Vitamin C and Kidney Stone Risk
Hi #174,
Just to be precise, I did NOT write that "YOU" used those words, but that your posted ARTICLE used them.
Also, I did NOT write that the words "YOU" wrote had any "fear" in them, but that the article you posted was [just trying to spread] "fear."
I detect that you prefer the allopathic, i.e. drug, approach to health [restoration], and further, are offended by anyone that believes there exists any other possible approach to health [and you are certainly not alone in that regard]. There are certainly an almost infinite number of "studies" to back your viewpoint. I see them as ultimately economically motivated, but apparently you do not. Those "economic" forces are [understandably] considerably more scarce for ortho-molecular approaches to health. But to write, "there are still no real studies that even suggest that vitamin C in large quantities has any proven benefits whatsoever" is definitely to ignore the abundant evidence. Take a QUICK look at this webpage for an extensive list of such studies
http://www.vitamincfoundation.org/.
You wrote, "You've eliminated some of the outright lies that you used to post..." PLEASE enlighten me, because I am completely in the dark as to what "lies" I have [ever] posted. I ask that as a FAVOR of you!
Regards,
David
