I started taking diatomaceous earth and I read that it chelates metals. I am wondering if there is any truth to this and if it chelates metals whats the half life?

I dont really want to use anything other than dmsa or ala for chelating metals.

I really like that diatomaceous earth kills parasites and thas what I want it for.

Please let me know if taking diatomaceous earth is safe.
