One other thought. Your heart palpitations could be hormonal, or could be due to electrolyte problems. You mentioned that you have POTS, that could indicate one of several electrolyte imbalances. Aldosterone is one of the ways the body controls potassium and sodium in the blood. if you are having adrenal issues it could be creating POTS symptoms and the heart palpitations. Did the doc recommend a dose of DHEA? I suppose you could start with just a quarter of a 25mg tablet. You might feel a difference on the first day that you try it. While I agree that a natural, non-chemical approach is best, if you are set on taking drugs to kill the yeast over-growth then Nystatin is often prescribed in conjunction with Fluconazole. Hey thanks for the reply. Yeah I figured it was either candida or another food intolerance. The reason why I highly doubt it is a food intolerance is because of the severe reaction to the coca cola. My symptoms don’t fit those of Fructose Malabsorption. And I’ve connected my symptoms to any carbohydrate, not just fructose. You appear to know as much as anyone else here not named Dr. Jeff, so if money is not an issue, do all the testing you can, even multiple times. Marie, I have the same problem with supplement sensitivity. I can’t take vitamin D everyday because it causes me to stay up all night. Symptoms include orthostatic intolerance, alternating fatigue and hyperactivity and seizures when exposed to allergens and other substances that cause a drop in my blood pressure. One alternative to medications (or an adjunct with medication) is compression stockings to raise blood pressure.
