CFS/ME are in no way the same thing as AF. It may be easier to use to get noticed but it's not the same disease. I suffered from severe AF for 2 years and then got ME and trust me- the amount of brain damage I have has kept me bedridden for a year. AF is a walk in the park compared to this disease and AF is also curable- ME is not. In the year Ive had it ive declined immeasurably.
Anyway, that being said, there had been stem cell treatments done on Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome patients. Look up Dr Cheney. He took patients to Panama and have them infusions at a co-op hospital down there. I guess people improved at first but then reverted back to the way they were before because the stem cells became infected with whatever virus/pathogen/auto-immune reaction was happening.
I wouldn't think that same thing would happen with AF tho since it's not an actual disease but rather a degradation of the bodies own abilities. I would think the results would be much better.
