Re: Insomnia and Low Blood Pressure, Aldosterone

Hi Cumulus,

Do you have a blood pressure machine? I have noticed when the heart rate is high it is do to low sodium.(standing position it gets to 120-140) sitting 90-100...my normal is 76-80,
When it is low cortisol my bp is very low like 86/56. My normal is 112/76 for about the past 2 years. I am on 10 mg of hydrocortisone. My cortisol level was so low that conventional Dr diagnosed me with Addison's Disease. I was on 30-50 mg daily before starting NB.
Are you on any supplements? I had to stop at 4:30 pm with all supplements expect paramin and vitamin D3...because certain supplements will keep you up.

Last night I took a little less salt and my sleep was not to great, plus stress over my son dating some crazy lady again.

Make sure to have it dark in your room and cool. I have no TV or any night lights on. Plus if I am having a hard time going to sleep I will count 100 backwards to clear my mind of any thoughts that may keep me up.

The 4 -5 night I slept right through I did not need more salt.

Best to you,
Marie
