Hmmm, that's interesting about gradual lowering of liver cholesterol.
One of my main concerns with doing this is "how often is safe?"
I mean, is it possible to "exhaust" the liver by forcing it to throw off all this bile too frequently? I know that bile is recycled when it reaches the ileum, to be used again by the liver. Common sense tells me that throwing off all this bile and flushing it down the toilet means that my liver will have to work extra hard for a period of time to make up for that loss. The question is: how long is that period?
I'd like to do it every 2-3 weeks. Christopher Hobbs recommends only doing it once per year in his book on the liver. I wonder why?
