Some people do have calcified Gallstones that do sink. The most common stone is the green waxy cholesterol stone. They do float. If you are still questioning whether or not these are "real" stones produced in the liver and often clogging the gallbladder, then go look at the images gallery of removed gallbladders. You will see them filled with green stones.
