interesting what he told you about diet. The LiverDoctor suggests something similar, though she included "good oils" from seeds such as flax and coldwater fish:

I imagine that things vary from person to person too. I'm finding lately that egg yolks don't make me feel too good, which is something that I've been able to eat no problem all my life before.
Yeah, I was wondering too about the homeopathic thing and the reverse of it. I wish I had that reference to the New Guinea tribes that I read (it's so long ago now I wouldn't even remember which book it was in). But it was basically along similar lines.
The whole relationship between fat in the diet is interesting too. Apparently African Americans have a lower incidence of gall bladder problems than whites, which is strange when you consider that the "traditional" skillet-based African American diet is rather high in fat (I'm thinking of ribs, fat back, fried chicken and soul food in general).
