Re: Bumps and sore in my mouth

Day 17

Despite all vitals being great, my body's trying to tell me something with the anxiety and the painful hunger. At 4PM today I ate 1/2 orange and will eat the other half at 6PM.

I will take 2-3 weeks to break the fast. In the past I've been good at breaking fasts, and I've been awful at breaking fasts, and I am determined to get that right, at least. I don't want to feel like a failure for not getting to 30/40 days on a water fast, but I am disappointed. It just seemed like "while we're here, let's get the job done, once and for all." The cold is setting in here and I will wait for Spring to resume fasting. I believe that I can accomplish quite a lot of good through going back to the practice of NH.

Oil pulling: I put if off till this morning as I've been slightly nauseous throughout and didn't know how my body would react to that oily feeling in the mouth. I had no problem. About 6 hours after my OP about half the bumps on the roof of my mouth started feeling pointy. I can only assume it's because something is actually making its way out of those bumps. Will continue with the practice, particularly since I am breaking the fast. Every little bit will help.

Chrisb1.... thank you, thank you, thank you. Your patience, input, education of and genuine concern for the people on this forum are astonishing. You're a legend. Sure to bump into each other again around CZ.

PS the NH forum looks a wee bit neglected... ;o)
