Re: Bumps and sore in my mouth

Your support is, indeed, invaluable to me. A heartfelt thank you. (I'm in New Zealand, BTW.)

Firstly, hubby picked up a wrist bp monitor for me. I will post my first reading in the morning. It is now 8:25PM as I write this.

Kidney function: no, I haven't had a recent test done. I have no idea what it is. I'm not in danger of failure, I'm pretty sure, it's just that I have had painful kidneys almost my whole life. When I am careless, they will "punch" me at around 3 AM. I've had what I describe as sand, as opposed to stones, pass through, which has caused much pain, but nothing like passing stones. I have always supposed that they have been compromised because of my sick liver. My kidneys are complaining much tonight.

From what you say, I really have no option but to do this fast and to do it properly. I have a very helpful husband and am on 24/7 bedrest since my 2nd day - just can't do anything else since I'm so extremely weak.

This morning I felt as if I had reached a point where the weakness has not progresses. However, at this hour, and after a day of virtual dry fasting, I am definitely weaker again. Probably to be expected.

My one stress is my parents who live with us who are scared stiff I will die and have put a lot of pressure on me to stop. I had hubby print out some stuff for them to read and it has eased off, but there is a selfish element to it, like I'm not available to them. I try to breathe through that so I can stay as peaceful as humanly possible.

I put most of my woes down to systemic candida, diagnosed 31 years ago. As a baby I was given liquid anitbiotics for swollen tonsils/tonsilitis for 18 months straight. The liver was the first organ to show the results when I had non-viral jaundice at the age of 5. I've had an enlarged liver ever since. The tickbite fever came at 8. After that, I was pretty much a mess.

Once again, Chrisb1, I am very grateful for your support and interest. It has strengthened my resolve to see this through, however long that may be.

Regards,

tussockgal
