I too have had testing done through Metametrix.
I also tested possitive for a parasite (non-human, as well) of "unknown etiology"...

My symptoms most resemble Chagas Disease, otherwise known as North American Sleeping Sickness. It is said to be found in blood bank supplies.
It is a vector borne sickness. Google it if you would like a description.

So I called Metametrix, and told them I had a question about my test results.

I said, "Did you test for trypanosomiasis in my last batch of tests?"

The woman said "No."
I asked,"Is there any test you have there in which Chagas Disease is "on the radar" so to speak?"

She said "No."

I think that Johnson & Johnson produce a test for this disease, and I am going to try to get my hands on one.

I believe that all blood bank supplies should be tested for posible life threatening diseases.
