Hello, I am thinking of taking both food sensitivity and food allergy tests to see which foods are affecting my Psoriasis. However a person on my Psoriasis discussion forum who is under an allergist’s care said: ”The problem is that they can be completely wrong like telling you have IgA anti-bodies for milk or egg. Any food you have eaten will have left anti-bodies in your body. Mike, W Traveling and fasting does not work. So you fast and then eat all processed foods? Why do you need to eat pasta and bread and wine? You could break your fast this week and eat raw for 3 weeks, then travel. IMO, you do not have to eat bread, pasta, wine. Thanks Archus! I have the liver flush saved to follow the water fast. Here’s a follow up: I work in the restaurant industry, and leave for Europe on March 6. A month long trip for menu research. It will not be conducive to following this fast, though hard to be upset about it any other way. Mike33, Congratulations on finishing 21 days of fasting. I get rashes during all my fasts. It is a sign of detox, but also it means your liver is not functioning properly. Use coconut oil on your skin, it will minimize itching. After you complete your fast, eat raw fruits and vegetables for 1X, if not 1.5X the number of days you fasted, then do liver flush. So it does not work on people who might have drug resistance. For example, almost all the antihistamine does not work on me. I think you should do a series of liver flushes. It won’t cure your problem completely on its own but it will help alot. You need to cut out all known food allergens which are the worst. For me, one egg will give me a psoriasis flare.. so allergens are definitely the issue. Take vitamins and minerals that are known to help the body cope with allergenic response, for example vitamin b5. Cutting out all allergens and taking b5 might help. I found an inexpensive solution for jock itch. Witch Hazel with 40% alcohol. Found it at Walmart. Apply as much as you can stand and as often as you can stand. Will burn for a while until skin heals. I’ve tried all sorts of creams and powder sprays, but this very cheap solution has worked best for me.   [End]

Hi there, I thought I was the only one out there with this issue of having to be in the coldest grayest weather around in order for my skin to heal. I’m contemplating Alaska having my last outbreak after the heatwave in California. I feel scarred for life from the top of my bald head (had to shave my head and yes I’m female) to my feet... Doctor told me to avoid all sun back in 2001 and I did for 10 years in Oregon... went into total remission so I came home to California - homesick. And now after 4 years I don’t even look the same.
