Re: Jock Itch That Won't Go Away!

You 100% have a staph infection. I thought I also had a serious case of jock itch for years and the doctors prescribed me antifungal creams to no avail. I tried a multitude of other things trying to treat a fungal jock itch, but after losing my mind and going to the doctor again basically demanding they do a culture, it came back as staph. They put me on Antibiotics and it went away. BUT, it came back. I have done countless hours of research on this topic and I believe I might have found something that is working for me. Keep in mind I've only been doing this for about a week, but the staph infection is going away.

1) I use Hibiclens Skin Cleanser in the shower. You can get it at Walmart or any drug store. I get a good lather going and let it set for a few minutes before washing it away.

2) Coconut oil. Coconut oil is an amazing antibacterial agent as well as having great skin healing qualities. It not only soothes the area but it also is making it go away and healing the skin.

I should point out that I am the last person that usually tries home remedies before getting medicine from a doctor, but the Antibiotics obviously didn't work. It came back as soon as I stopped and I have heard that from so many different people on these forums.

Do yourself a favor and go to the doctor and demand you get a culture done. It's just a simple swab the touch to the area for a second and then call you back in a few days with the results. That way you will at least know if you have staph or not, and to me, it sounds exactly like it is. Staph can be very dangerous so make sure you do this as soon as possible and good luck!
