Re: Jock Itch That Won't Go Away!

Hope for Vitamin D3.

I too have had jock itch for years. I'm 41 now and first got it at 19. It never responded well to prescription creams, over the counter sprays, or at home treatment. I gave up on it and just lived with it until it started going away this past year. About a year ago I started taking Vitamin D3 to successfully treat LPR (its a type of reflux). Interestingly once my D levels went above deficient the jock itch has gone into remission. I always avoided getting out into the sun since it would cause me to sweat and make the jock itch that much worse, but it turns out the Vitamin D that your skin makes from sun exposure helps your immune system and more. Research it a bit and talk to your doctors about it.
