Re: peeling lips (off topic)
I live in London, England and had cheilitis(which i found out myself by researching doctors were saying it was dry skin)for 11 years i am now 16. I am intruiged by the psychological approach to the problem and i have read that lipbalms aren't good because applying a coat of lip balm traps fungi and bacteria. So what i am going to do is NOT WORRY ABOUT IT and have a good time(i can't approach girls though can i?). This is my biggest problem though i am now extremely self conscious i can't look people directly in the face and i am shy which i have never been before. I also now have developed an angry look on my face. So there will be alot of training psychologically for me e.g. relaxing my face. I know what causes it is bacteria but what we need to know is HOW TO GET RID OF THIS BACTERIA. I am thrilled to hear this doesn't lead to cancer. If lip balm cannot heal it what can? I also aspire to be a basketball player proffesionally. This also does effect my game i worry to much about my appearance. Thats the worst symptom, like sitting in a barber with mirrors and everyone can see your face then you begin to frown and look angry(for me anyways). I've got to correct these problems. How can not worrying get rid of the bacteria thats causes the inflammation? So i am going to do a scheduel along side my basketball, education and social life.
1. Not to worry.(simple as that)
2. Apply anti fungal cream or wateva its called.
3. Pray
Now time for question.
1) My lips never itched? They just where raw, red when no skin and hard, rough and scaly with skin and blood, Never no itching.
2) Why of all places the lips? The place where you kiss.
I have something similar on my foot i don't worry about at all and only peels when in contact with water? So i gonna try see whats with that and compare to my lips.
3) What causes lip cancer anyway? Just need reassurance?
WHEN I AM HEALED I WILL TELL ALL!!! YOU ALL IN A FEW YEARS TIME TUNE IN TO ESPN AND SEE ME.
