Re: Once an abuser, always...? (edited)

I feel for you and for your 'abuser'. I read the messages that tell you he is the devil incarnate. What do we know? What can we say? What could happen to us to make us so desperate? We can all run away. That's easy, isn't it?

Just shun. Just ostracise. Just make the person an outcast. All of that is the easy way out.

It's easy to distance yourself and to cut off and to 'remove' and to 'cut out' and to 'kill off' whatever is bothering us.

just think about it. Let's all think about what we are saying here.

Let's be kinder, let's be bigger. Let's be more understanding. Let's be more empathic. Let's be more loving. Let's be more HUMAN. Sod the f-ing robotic stance. Sod the f-ing 'politically correct' stance. Sod the f-ing rest of it. Let's show love and understanding and empathy and just try to see things as others see things and feel as others feel, let's just walk in others shoes let's just listen and feel and suffer, if suffering is what's going on now. Let's understand. Let's relate. Let's communicate. Let's belong and be together. If somone is suffering, then let's share that and help and make it lighter for them. Let's make lighter, the suffering that others are feeling, let's listen to their pain and share it and help them and............... I'm not saying that any one of us should lay down and be a doormat.. NO WAY. I'm saying that we should share.
