Re: To be continued...
Well, I made it for 13 hours dry. I would have made it longer as I was doing fine except for one problem. I got a bad coughing spell that I could not get under control. I was afraid of my throat closing, blocking off breathing, so I decided that I must have water. I sipped on water. I think it helped a little, but I was still coughing too much. I next decided I needed to break the water-only because I needed to try my hot pepper sauce which is liquid and made with hot peppers, water and a little vinegar and salt. It is really good for coughs. I think it probably works better than cough medicine. You only need little bit poured into a small spoon. If you need more just keep on until the coughing stops. What's nice is that you don't get the negative side effects of cough medicine. Also, it is liquid so I can use it on liquid/juice fasting days.
Well I didn't
Water Fast long enough to even call it a water only phase. I need at least 24 hours to call it a true water fast. I am happy that I was able to get my feet wet (pun intended) on the dry fasting, but then again I didn't make that for 24 hours either. I did tread new waters (pun intended) which kept it interesting.
I hope to get back into water-only soon with dry spells before my ten days are up.
Jeremiah 2:13 King James Version (KJV)
For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.
Father, may I not forsake the fountain of living waters.
