I'm glad that song was a help also. I've thought of it myself over the past couple of days.

And I'm glad you made the decision to share with us on this forum, keeping us updated with your fast. When we tell others what we have set out to do, it does drive us on I believe. When I was pregnant, I told a bunch of people that I was going to have my baby without an epidural. I knew that epidurals were dangerous for my baby and me too. Well, since I'd never had a baby before, I had no idea what I was in for. :) And I didn't go to any of those training classes either, which would have been a help. Anyway, in the midst of that pain, which I could never have even imagined, I remembered many times over what I had told people. I wanted to stand by what I had said. Of course, many times I thought I would die from the pain and the fatigue too. I had to pray a lot! At one point, right before she was born, I was done I believe. I told God I had nothing left. My eyes were rolling in the back of my head my husband said. But by God's grace, I made it through, and I was able to keep my word. It always feels good to be able to do that. I give God all the glory though, and that's what I told people, because I know I'm not that strong, by any means.
