I'm not much of a tv watcher either. My husband got me watching biggest loser. He's trying to shed some pounds. It is an interesting show because they lose so much weight in such a short period of time and they don't even look like the same people sometimes. But they do it in such a way that is supposedly safe. I don't want to recommend the show though. It's got way too much unnecessary drama at times and too many language beeps.
I could easily throw out the tv.
My mom made it to day eight on water only. Then she had juices for the next two days I think. She wanted to go longer but her job is stressful and she doesn't get much time to rest at all. She was getting too weak. She is thinking of now going on a several week juice fast.
I did a ten day juice fast. You and my mom both inspired me. Basically it was just a water and
Celery juice fast.
I did pretty good on it until the last couple of days. I got crazy weak and depressed. Probably just a detox, but there was a lot going on here and I had to get some energy going. I'd like to try it again, maybe not right away. I probably need to prepare more next time.
I hope your next fast will go well too! You've got me reading about other people fasting now, like on the
Water Fast forum. I never did that before. :)
