They lusted after meat, so He sent them quail. He wanted to feed them manna from heaven, but they didn't want that. He answered their prayers and gave them what they wanted. They died.

This is serious stuff. This is also where I am at. I feel like if I do not obey God in fasting I too will die. I am so lusting after food right now. "Lord Jesus, please help me eat the manna from heaven that you desire for me. Please forgive me for lusting after food. Only you can truly satisfy."
