Congratulations on your ten day juice fast! I am very excited for you! I got the idea from one of your posts that you couldn't fast so I was really surprised and happy when you said that. I have a lot of faith in fasting, but I know some people's condition may prevent them from it. Where did you get the idea of just Celery juice and water? Do you feel any health or spiritual benefits yet? Much of the time when I fast I do not realize spiritual benefits until the fast is over.

I think I am realizing another spiritual benefit from this fast that begin January 11th. Besides being more determined than ever to seek the Lord and besides having a greater desire for the Lord, I believe the Lord is really showing me something about myself to a greater degree. He is showing me just how full of flesh I really am. It's sure not a pretty sight. I would have loved to have had angels sing to me again, but the Lord knows what I really need. What I really need may not be pleasant, but will be for my own good. He is such a loving Father that He does not want to leave me like this. I wonder how long I will have to fast and pray to get rid of all of that. The rate I'm going I think maybe 40 years instead of 40 days. :(

Thanks for giving the update about your mom. Eight days on water only was awesome, especially while working. I could have never worked on my day eight of my latest Water Fast which was part of the 40 days.
