I know you do not realize this, but you really do worship your bible rather than living your life unto the Living God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  You are led by your bible and not the Holy Spirit of the Living God.  Most everything you have said to me within this thread has been confirmation of this sad reality.  Your relationship is with a book.  What is almost as bad as you worshiping a book instead of the Living God is how falsely you interpret the meanings therein.   Cessationist doctrines epitomize false and dead religion and yet here you are espousing them.  Being filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit would help you out amazingly in this area and i really do wish you knew what this was like.  

I worship the God and our Lord Jesus Christ.  It is he who commands us to Study, Read, and Obey the scriptures of which you openly have displayed your disdain and contempt. 

Cessationist doctrine! I love the way weak men who do not study the word like to use false doctrinal statements to elevate themselves.  This term is not even biblical.  What is biblical is that Paul only cast out one devil, healed very few people, rose only one person from the dead and the generation of men after him did none of these.  Neither Timothy who had stomach ailments, or Titus, who was sick near to death, had any of these signs.  I guess you missed that over in Mark 16 Mr 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe.  See that SIGNS not GIFTS.  You confuse signs for gifts could be the false error filled Bible you use.  What were the SIGNS for?  They are for signifying, signify what?  You err not knowing the scriptures.

Not one person at my church is a dead religionist nor are our doctrines.  Our doctrines and teaching are Biblical and man who does not care for Biblical doctrines should not ever call himself a Christian.

You are a false accuser and a disenter of which after this communication I reject thee as an heritck.  An heretick is not one who teaches false doctrine but one who espouses false practices in his Christianity.  Tit 3:10, 11 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;  Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

I know what it is like to be filled with the spirit.  That is where you are wrong.  But lets look at your  “overflowing with the Holy Spirit” statement.  Is it even Biblical?  If the scriptures teach us and example to us the character of God and our Lord then surely this truth would be scriptural for anyone to use it so frequently.

“Overflowing with the Holy Spirit” , Oh my! I can’t even find such a term in the Holy Bible.  You practice something that is not even in the scriptures that truly makes you an heretick.  Maybe you meant “filled” however none of them which are filled are ever said to be  overflowing.  The Bible says they are just filled.

But the Bible also teaches that Satan can fill a persons heart to lie Acts 5:3.
People are filled with all unrighteousness etc. Roms 1:29.  
One of the things the Holy Ghost does is fill us with all knowledge Romans 15:14

We can be filled with comfort 2Cor7:4
We are filled with ALL the FULLNESS of God Eph 3:19.  Now here is a great filling that we are  all filled with.  And you want me to be “overflowing”?  I am filled to the brim.  Hallelujah!!!
I am filled with the Spirit Eph 5:18 again you act as if I am not and only you and few others are.  You err not knowing the Scriptures.

I do not care about thousand year old theological debates between phd theologians on opposing sides who can each produce dozens of scriptures to seemingly support their own opposing positions.  It seems you have fallen into this trap.  Isn't it so much better to spend this time more wisely by reading as worship unto the Lord or worshiping the Lord in any of a number of other ways?  Instead of pontificating about how the believer has no power or authority in the Spirit today, i would strongly encourage you to seek the Lord on your face and in humility (including fasting), pleading with Him to show you the truth and to remove the lies you have been indoctrinated into. 

Again you are mistaken.  I worship in spirit and truth.  You would do well just to do a Bible study on the word truth and see all the many references it has to the word of God, the Holy Bible the words of God.   Ps 119:160 ¶ Thy word [is] true [from] the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments [endureth] for ever.   Ps 119:43 ¶ And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.
 Ps 119:151 Thou [art] near, O LORD; and all thy commandments [are] truth.
 Ps 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
So worshiping God in spirit and in truth entails we do so with and according to his word the Holy Scriptures, a book you can hold in your hand that contains ALL the words of God, called the word of Truth.

“Pontificating”!  I laugh whole heartedly again at the idea that pronouncing big words in anyway makes you any closer to God than that which Christ brings you.  No such word in the Bible Again you have many words but no wisdom.  A true man of God speaks the words of God not the worlds and its dictionaries.

How do you know it is God the Holy Ghost?
There are other spirits, other chirists and Jesus’s and other god’s out there willing to deceive you and unless you compare your experience with the word of God you have no idea how deceived you are. And I could care less about reading of any previous incounter you have had and anythig you teach.

Why?

Because I have observed you are in disobedience to the word of God therefore I will not give you any place to try and teach me.  And if I do read it I will compare it to the word of God and reveal its truth and its error.

ps:  You judge with false judgement and if you were filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit, you would judge much more rightly, as a man touched by the living God, spilling over with His love.  My Lord decides if my fasts are unto Him and in obedience and humility and from the blessings He has given me, it is clear that they have been.

I follow that as the Holy Ghost teaches by comparing spiritual things with spiritual (the Word of God is Spiritual) and in so doing my judgment is not false but based on the word of truth 1Cor 2:13-16 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.   But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.  For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

You interpret Matt 6 as you do so many other scriptures, which is as a man who is not filled with living water.  Matt 6 also says to pray in private, so if we pray with another person, are we in sin and are our prayers not heard?  It says to give in private, so when the plate is being passed, are we to not give because somebody might notice us dropping something in?  I believe the living Jesus has shown me what He has meant in these scriptures (don't be a hypocrite, don't care about impressing man over pleasing God) and that i should share my fasts with others as encouragement to them towards doing the same and as it turns out, several people have fasted unto the Lord upon this encouragement and entered into greater blessing as a result.

You would do best to first learn how to rightly divide before you falsely say some one does not have life.  Again you error the prayer in private does not mean not praying with others.  Did not those gathered in prayer for peter have a reward openly in answered prayer?  You failed to understand Christ teaching, it is and issue of the heart of why a person is praying, not whether they pray with others or not.  Once again you err not knowing the scriptures.  It is a sign someone does not have the Holy Ghost if they don’t understand the Scriptures and that they openly disobey them.  The Holy Ghost will never teach anyone to disobey another portion of scritures which is for them.  To whcih you need to rightly divide so you can know what is for you as the church the fulness of him bodily (Eph1:21) the body of christ and what is for Israel the church built on the rock.

Your relationship is with a book and each time you write new replies in this thread, you make this more and more abundantly clear.  You absolutely do not speak as a man who has died to his old self and risen in Spirit, transformed, a new creation in Christ, with the heart and the mind of the Lord Jesus.  If you haven't already done so, i strongly encourage you to meet the Living God and in either case begin to be led by the Holy Spirit of the Living God, not a book.  I also encourage you to renounce all of man's doctrines including all of the doctrinal interpretations of false, dead religion you have come to embrace... and start all over, reading the words of the Lord Jesus in the gospel of John and falling in love with Him and His astonishingly amazing teachings.   Our relationship with the Lord Jesus is everything, not a minor side note that comes beneath the importance of becoming an excellent theologian who will always have other excellent theologians expertly opposing his positions.  Our personal loving relationship with the Lord Jesus is Everything and this is what i live for.

My relationship with God's word reflects my relationship with him which is deep and broad and for that I am not ashamed.

Your words and posts show forth how shallow and weak your relationship with God.  For you rely upon experiences and feelings which can change in a blinking of an eye.  But His word if forever just as He is.

 Mr 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
 Lu 21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.  If Christ is God then none of God’s word will pass away, Israel shall always have seed as a nation it never died for over 2000 years they had no real nation and look they still exist.  Why?  Because God’s word will not fail.  Jer 31:35-36

 No thanks I have a wonderful life filled relationship with God through Christ.  I have seen angels, Devils, miracles, healings, devils cast out.  I have been hungry yet full and abounding when I am poor, so no.  I will stick to God, Jesus Christ and his word before ever taking any instruction from a reprobate rebellious disobedient sinner like you.
