Re: Cutaneous Larva Migrans / Hookworm

Thanks for that recipe, I might give that one a try if I need to coax another one out of this hole I have beside my nose. Ever since I pulled the huge 'mother' out of this spot about a month ago it seems like every remaning paracite in my body wants to attach himself there and take-over where Mama left off. In fact this is probably the most prevacive and distressing problem involved with this disease, the unrelenting pervasiveness of these monsters to hook onto that one spot. It's very poainful as you can imagine and it can happen at any time day or night. The big ones hurt worse because their triangular hooks are bigger but the small ones will group together and that's just as bad in the long run. The small one's hooks are like those of hookworms, barbed on the end. One other thing I discovered, when I've tried to dig-out all the worm out of the wound if the slightest little piece of the worm is still left it will regenerate into another fully grown adult, and they regenerate at an amazing rate of speed. Once I've controlled the population I'd like to turn this element of the problem over to a competant Dermatologist, but would they understand what they're dealing with? If they did actually realize that they're dealing with a parasite would they go the extra mile and submit a biopsy to be properly analyzed? Would the lab they submitted it to be competant enough to recognize they have a parasite and take the proper test to identify what exactly it is?

If someone would refer me to any of the Mayo Clinics I'd be ready to go in less than 1 hour. I have friends and relatives in all 3 cities. I simply can't seem to find a doctor who can identify a parasite from a fungus problem. To have this problem in the capital of the USA is insane.
