Re: Cutaneous Larva Migrans / Hookworm
I am sorry to hear your story, especially since it is similar to my story. I definitely relate to your frustration and discouragement with the medical field. I,too, have what looks like a wiggly curved blood vein on my temples across the forehead.. The curvy lines on my forehead, up and over the top, down to the sides of my eyes, and over across to the top of my ears. I have them in my eyes and ears and pores. They make their appearance, the crawling, noises, after eating, and/or twice a day. Let me know please if you found any help. For me, I have accepted this is what I will die of one day. Do yours look like there are two indents on the face for eyes? If I think of this in the first person, and truly tell myself this is me I am speaking of, not someone else, I begin to feel a ocean of fear and panic and disgust, so I really work on not dealing with the reality of this illness. it is truly terrifying. I wrote my will last week, called the bank designating my beneficiaries for the inheritance I received but will most likely never have the opportunity to enjoy. Like another person who posted, I can afford to go anywhere for treatment and am retired, so I have the free time to travel to any location. Can't get off step 1, Finding a Pysician. Who would have thought it would come down to this?
