Re: Day 3 - Serious Health Concerns Averted
Thank you for your reply. If you do decide to post somewhere else, as some may object, at least give us the link. I am not convinced that drinking distilled water on a fast is the best way to go. I did think this way for many years and for many years drank only distilled water. I know this is the thinking of Bragg and Shelton. These were great men and did contribute a lot to the world in the field of fasting, but since they were just mortal men I do not think that their ideas may be perfect. I have done research on the subject and the other side has some very convincing arguments. Some fast doctors do not recommend distilled water. I tried to get a debate going in fasting debate a while back to try and get more information. I did get a few responses. At this point I think the only one who knows for sure what water is best to drink on a water fast is God. I have prayed about it, but, so far, He has not given me any answer on this. :) Maybe He doesn't think it's important what water I drink.
I found your information on coconut water very fascinating.
"I was looking up the composition of coconut water. It's not much different to spring water in one sense, considering it's almost pure water, with a few solutes in it in minute concentrations. There is a small amount of glucose, but it's not much. All in all I would still count it as a type of water. It's probably a much better composition than some filtered or spring waters out there!"
