Re: Fasting (to completion?) - My Journey to Health

Yay for fasting buddies! :)

Thank you for sharing your inspiring results from your past fasting experiences, and for the book link as well. I did come across that yesterday and did read several chapters. I didn't know Shelton's work was available online, and I have been very curious to read some of it. It has been very helpful, though I have to admit I find it hard to know what information could be outdated. After I read the home page of this web site: http://roylretreat.com/
a couple of weeks ago (specifically the second paragraph), I have been wondering what scientific principles are in need of updating.

So am I right in thinking that today is day 3 for you?

I woke up at 2am last night and could not get back to sleep. I finally quit trying and got up and paid bills at about 5:30. I am guessing that sleep is even more important than usual when fasting, so I've been trying to take it easy today. It was amazing how much clearer my mind was than usual! Even on so few hours of sleep. Paying bills took about half the time it normally would. This is great motivation for me to continue. I feel so much more like my old self already.

Take care :)
