I don't want to end up with nothing; I need a place to live and enough to live on until I can find a job or start another business. My son is one of my employees and works directly under N. N knows that I love my son more than anything in the world (of course he may think I love N more). He will punish me through my son and has done it in certain ways before but not as bad as he will when I leave. My son is 21 years old but yes, he is my baby, my only child and a step son to N. My sister also works for me in the office a couple days a week and is aware of the situation. Before I found out about his disorder I told her I was almost ready to leave and now that I know that he is not even cable of love, she knows I will not stay. She said she has no problem with replacing income elswhere so I'm not worried about her as much. I've heard more than one person say to not worry about assets and to just get out but I've been dealing with N for over 10 years now and I am more aware of things I should and shouldn't say and do. I need to have an exit strategy but you don't think it's safe to stay a little longer to make sure it's not total abomination? Thank you so much for your insight!!! I just found out what a narcissist was 3 days ago and everything that I've seen written describes him completely. The only thing missing in the articles, chat etc. is his picture. He already started on me this morning at 8am; I asked him to keep his receipts because he is out of town on business and he knows that I don't trust what he is really doing with the cash so he explained how much money he is not going to be able to show receipts for and one of them was $11 that he returned to a classmate for buying his lunch yesterday. He called me at 8am and told me he had his classmate write a receipt for him to bring back to me. There it is already; the humiliation and exploitation. uuuhhhhgggg!!! Tweet
