Hello When I use Cayenne Pepper I find myself getting quite nervous / anxious. Which does not help my ulcers which where caused by nervous anxiety. It seems the Cayenne stimulates these moods, which is unfortunate. I am also taking a Nervine tonic, so if I also take Cayenne it is a bit like taking uppers and downers at the same time. The pain was tremendously reduced when I woke up the next morning since that post. Today is the 3rd without Activated Charcoal, and the pain is almost gone, only little whirling in the stomach 2-3 times, and I mean a little, still can feel it though. Hello! My doctor told me I probably have a duodenal ulcer, mostly from a combination of undigested food rotting and past ibuprofen use. He thinks H Pylori is probably not the culprit. Anyway, I am currently taking a few enzymes and Betain HCL with each meal. Otherwise I don’t seem to be able to digest food I eat, and it rots and makes me feel worse. I’m wondering, should I continue my Betian HCL and enzymes while I am treating the ulcer (with L-glutamine, cabbage juice and cayenne), or do I need to stop taking the digestion aids? Start taking apple cider vinegar. You need to get real apple cider vinegar. Heinz is not real. Go to a health food store - even GNC has ACV w/mother. (Mother is the sediment at the bottom). Shake well. Add one teaspoon to a glass and add a little less than a mouthful of distilled water. I also add cayenne to it. First I would have an allopathic or alternative test for H Pylori. Then you can use several methods to eliminate this and then heal the ulcers.
