Substitution for the juice....

I was telling my friend about the Liver Flush and stuff and she was interested in it for herself but her stomach/intestines cannot handle any kind of juice right now b/c she has an ulcer. Is there something she can use other than the juice or is there something she could do to clear the ulcer up before doing the cleanse(she talked like she had had the ulcer for a while.
